As a Director focused on the healthcare sector, I lead our international healthcare sector team, a role I have had since we merged our businesses to form Clearwater International in 2014. The healthcare sector has been my focus for over 18 years, a period which has seen significant change!

Before joining Clearwater in 2010, I spent four years as a global healthcare analyst at the international private equity house 3i, providing market intelligence, technical support and commercial due diligence in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining the commercial world, I completed an MBA from the Open University whilst working as a senior researcher for Oxagen, a drug delivery business.

As a director, I have completed numerous high-profile deals across the health and social care, medical equipment and supplies, and pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, including Nurse Plus, Vanguard Healthcare, Sidhil, Vernacare, and Chase Search and Selection.

The opportunity to help clients achieve their strategic goals, which could include a full or partial exit to trade or investors, in order to help grow their businesses and create wealth for themselves and their families, is hugely satisfying. Working with interesting clients, including sellers and buyers, to solve their problems and meet their particular needs, keeps the job exciting. It’s vital that everything we do is focused on what our clients want to achieve. We are a people business and I strongly believe that relationships and managing expectations is the heart and soul of any successful business.
