Rasmus Østergaard

I joined Clearwater International in May 2017, having previously worked for Arla Foods as an Intern, Aarhus University as a teacher and Jyske Bank within capital management. I wanted to join Clearwater partly because of its good reputation as a great workplace and partly because I saw a great opportunity to develop my skills within finance and strategy. Since joining I have broadened my commercial, as well as my financial understanding and learned how to apply this to M&A advisory. Over the years I have gained transaction experience across a wide range of industries including industrials & chemicals, TMT, healthcare and consumer. Additionally, I have worked with a variety of both owner-managed and private equity held companies, such as Golf Experten, Holiday Group Invest, Controlled Polymers, and Graphic West. The wide range of industry and client type experience has been an important learning curve in my career journey so far and is extremely valuable when working on new projects. The dynamic team culture at Clearwater International is another motivating factor, as every day you’re surrounded by inspirational people that are always willing to help you develop further. I hold an MSc in Finance and International Business, which I obtained from Aarhus University.

Malin Thimgren

I began my role as Financial & Project Manager at Clearwater International Sweden in August 2023. Prior to this, I worked as an accountant at a firm handling clients across diverse industries, from interior designers to tech companies. I am eager to expand my knowledge and expertise at Clearwater, while contributing to the growth of the wider business.

Angeliki Ventikou

Joining Clearwater in March 2020, I am part of our international marketing team, focusing on crafting engaging content across digital channels with an emphasis on strategic content creation and effective communication. With over eight years of marketing experience in corporate finance, technology, asset management, and professional services, I thrive in collaborative, international environments. I am committed to driving our team's success and Clearwater's global impact.

I hold an MSc in Marketing and Management from the University of Bradford, School of Management, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

After gaining M&A experience in a mid-market boutique, I joined Clearwater in Nov 2022, as an Analyst. I completed my bachelor’s degree in International Business at the University of Groningen, including an exchange semester in Canada. I then obtained master’s degrees in Finance, also from the University of Groningen, as well as Lund University in Sweden.

Miguel Peñalosa

I joined Clearwater International in January 2022 as an Intern and since June 2022 have been working for the company as an Analyst. I decided to join Clearwater due to its magnificent team, its leadership position in the middle-market corporate finance advisory segment, and its international reach. Before joining Clearwater, I previously worked as an intern for investment firm, SICAV. I hold a degree in Banking, Management and Finance, which I obtained from Loughborough University, England.

Elinor Schmitz Jansen

I started my career as a management consultant within international, complex project management before I moved into M&A advisory in 2017. My clients include entrepreneurs, corporates and financial investors. I advise on topics ranging from valuations and succession planning to finding a financial partner or completing a full exit. I have an international background with a master’s degree from Imperial College Business School in London.

Filipa Fontão

I recently re-joined Clearwater International as an Analyst after completing my internship with the company back in September 2020. I hold a BSc in Management and an MSc in Finance, both from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto. Since re-joining Clearwater, I have had the opportunity to work with experienced professionals in M&A operations, while connecting my training with real-life experiences in Corporate Finance.
