Clearwater has advised Palatine Private Equity on their investment in holiday park operator Verdant Leisure.
Verdant Leisure is a boutique holiday park operator offering self-catering holidays and holiday home ownership across Scotland and Northumberland. This secondary MBO represents an exit, after 5 years, by RJD partners.
The investment from Palatine will support further development and organic growth across the existing parks as well as providing funding for further acquisitions. The senior debt for this investment was been provided by Yorkshire Bank, whilst Toscafund Asset Management’s (Toscafund) Tosca Debt Capital business delivered the second lien debt.
