Clearwater International advises Kramp Groep on the sale of Grene Wind Industry Supplies to Bagger-Sørensen Equity in partnership with CoreCapital

Clearwater International has advised Dutch Kramp Groep on the sale of Grene Wind Industry Supplies A/S (GWIS), a supplier of equipment and services for the wind turbine industry, to Bagger-Sørensen Equity in partnership with CoreCapital.

GWIS is a strategic sourcing partner with an unmatched product assortment of standard and bespoke tools and equipment for wind turbine OEMs during the installation and service phase. The company adds significant value to OEMs through the development of kitted solutions, special tools, certification, calibration, and design.

Bagger-Sørensen & Co. is a Danish family office with a well-known legacy built upon a global dynasty of the production and sale of chewing gum. Bagger-Sørensen Equity was established as an investment arm of the family office of Bagger-Sørensen to invest in small and medium-sized companies through active ownership.

CoreCapital is a Danish investment company which focuses on the development of suppliers within the green transaction sector, investing in strong businesses through active ownership based on extensive experience in the wind industry. In collaboration, the two parties have acquired GWIS which has been carved out from Dutch Kramp Groep.

With the new Danish owners, GWIS has the ambition to become the preferred global partner and the leading force in the consolidation of the sub-suppliers within the wind industry.
