Clearwater International Denmark advises PE Group L Catterton on its investment in fashion brand Ganni

Clearwater International Denmark has advised private equity group L Catterton on acquiring a majority stake in internationally renowned fashion brand Ganni.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2000, Ganni is a leading contemporary fashion brand, offering alternative women’s clothing. Ganni is one of the fastest growing brands in the global apparel space and is established in 21 owned concept stores and more than 400 premium retailers in 20 countries including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the UK, Germany and the US. The brand has significant digital exposure and a unique style endorsed by key fashion influencers and supported by a loyal and increasing customer base.

Since 1989, L Catterton has made over 200 investments in leading brands across all segments of the consumer industry. L Catterton was formed through the partnership of Catterton, LVMH and Groupe Arnault. Current and past investments in the fashion space include SMCP (Sandro Maje Claudie Pierlot), ba&sh, Pepe Jeans, GANT, Charles & Keith, Gentle Monster, Rhone and Giuseppe Zanotti.
