Clearwater International advises the shareholders of Hôpital Privé de Provence Group on its sale to Saint-Gatien Group
Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of Hôpital Privé de Provence Group (HPP Group), a leading MSO (Medicine Surgery Obstetrics) private clinic in the south of France, on its sale to Saint-Gatien Group, a leader in private clinics in France. This transaction occurred a few years after Saint-Gatien Group first acquired a minority stake in HPP Group.
Founded in 1975, the French private hospital structure, HPP Group, initially consisted of two health establishments in Aix-en-Provence, the Polyclinique du Parc Rambot and Polyclinique du Parc Rambot-Provençale. When Saint-Gatien Group acquired a minority stake in 2018, HPP Group inaugurated "Hôpital Privé de Provence", a combination of its two historical structures in the south of Aix-en-Provence, across 30,000 m² on 12 hectares, comprising 319 beds and places, and 25 operating rooms.
In a few years, HPP Group has become a regional reference, with unique and renowned medical expertise. With numerous development projects underway, such as a second consultation centre and an increased number of operating theatres, this unique institution will complete the medical offering in the region.
Through this acquisition, Saint-Gatien Group is strengthening its presence in the south of France, by taking control of an establishment with a turnover of over €60m and more than 250 practitioners.
