Clearwater International advises OneLook Systems on its sale to VelocityEHS

Clearwater International has advised OneLook Systems (OneLook), a rapidly growing B2B cloud-based SaaS business in the Permit to Work and contractor management sector, on its sale to VelocityEHS, a global leader in cloud-based environment, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability solutions, backed by CVC Capital Partners.

OneLook is a fast growing, innovative SaaS company and a global leading player in the Permit to Work and contractor management sector. Headquartered in Cork, the company was founded in 2008 and now works with many of the most recognised companies in the world. Onelook’s blue chip client base extends across manufacturing, food & beverage, life science, pharmaceutical and technology, stretching from California, USA to Wellington, New Zealand. The company’s software solutions are designed to help streamline the end-to-end process of bringing people onto a site, carrying out a job safety analysis, checking qualifications and insurance requirements as well as providing evidence of compliance.

VelocityEHS is a global leader in cloud EHS software solutions with over 19,000 customers and 10 million users worldwide. Headquartered in Chicago, the company provides a comprehensive suite of EHS management software solutions to safeguard employees, manage risk and meet complex compliance obligations.

The deal adds the OneLook Control of Work solution, which includes Permit-to-Work, contractor management and lockout/tagout capabilities, to the award-winning VelocityEHS cloud software platform. These new capabilities extend the company’s suite of software solutions to further help managers in operations, process safety and maintenance roles enhance production reliability and operational safety. Under the acquisition agreement, OneLook will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of VelocityEHS from their current office location in Cork, Ireland.
