Clearwater International advises N’AGE on its sale to Maj Invest Equity

Clearwater International has advised N’AGE, the Danish leader in cosmetic treatments, on its sale to Maj Invest Equity.

Founded by the cosmetic nurse and professional director, Ida Bille Brahe, in 2003, N’AGE has been Denmark’s first cosmetic clinic and has become the largest chain within non-invasive cosmetic treatments, consisting of six clinics in the major Danish cities. In 2016 Sanne Lønskov entered as co-owner and CEO with a background as Director of L’Oréal in Denmark. Since then, the company has managed to grow at an impressive rate with three new clinics over the past three years, tripling its revenue in the same period.

N’AGE conducts more than 15,000 treatments a year, as well as running its own training academy for cosmetic nurses, which ensures customers a high level of professionalism and a guarantee of a safe result. With a value set built around aesthetics, ethics and safety, N’AGE, that stands for ‘no age’, and works from the concept of Nordic Beauty where the focus is on the natural appearance of the customer. The business collaborates with several well-known ambassadors including the international top model, Helena Christensen.

Maj Invest is Denmark’s largest private equity fund in the segment for small and medium-sized companies and manages over €540m for a number of investors. The partnership between N’AGE and the experienced private equity fund will add further speed to the growth in Denmark, but also abroad. After the sale, the partners Ida Bille Brahe and Sanne Lønskov will still own 45% of the company and will continue their current roles with Maj Invest Equity as a strong partner.
