Joshua Adesoba

I joined Clearwater in November 2023, as an IT Executive in the Manchester office. Prior to this, I worked for David Luke Ltd. as a Systems Administrator for their IT team. I also completed a degree apprenticeship in IT Consultancy at Manchester Metropolitan University, while working at Stockport Council from 2017-2021. I've been involved in different IT roles over the years, from web design to programming to IT support, and I'm excited to continue developing my skills in a team full of leading industry professionals.

Erick Eastwood

I joined Clearwater at the beginning of 2023 after qualifying as a chartered accountant at PwC. Clearwater offers me the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, engaging with diverse clients, building relationships, and tackling M&A challenges on a daily basis.

John Haygarth

I’m an Associate Director, based in the Leeds office. I joined Clearwater in 2021 as part of the Business Services sector team and have worked in M&A since 2017, advising clients on a wide range of transactions involving private equity and strategic trade acquirers across both buy-side and sell-side. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, running around after my two young children and walking the dog. I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy watching Liverpool when the time allows.

Henrik Falkenby

I joined Clearwater International in 2017 and I am based in the Stockholm office. Since joining Clearwater, I have had the opportunity to advise both entrepreneurs and corporates in transactions across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining the business, I worked as a management consultant in Paris, focusing on Commercial Due diligence for private equity clients in M&A transactions and advising large corporates on strategic M&A projects. I hold an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School in London.

Daniel Nota

I joined Clearwater within the Leeds office in January 2023, as an Associate. Before this, I spent six years at KPMG, having joined in 2017 on the school leaver programme, which combined university and professional studies with a full-time position within the national markets audit team. Latterly, I transitioned into the transactions assurance group, providing assurance services to entities undertaking significant transactions such as IPOs and joint ventures, which included both UK and US listings. Outside of work, I am an avid fitness fan and compete in functional fitness competitions regularly.

Richard Corrie

I joined Clearwater in 2017, and I am an Associate Director within our Industrials & Chemicals team. My role is to understand the evolving market dynamics within the industrial sector. This includes staying up to date with M&A activity, having insight into valuation drivers, and building relationships with leading corporate acquirers. During my time at Clearwater, I have had the opportunity to work on a number of highly successful transactions, supporting businesses across a range of sub-sectors. I enjoy working with high-quality businesses and helping to deliver positive outcomes during the sales process.

Moritz Stupka

Since 2017, I have been part of the Clearwater team, I have built my career on advising clients from various industries in mid-cap to transformational M&A projects. From my previous experience in the structured and leveraged finance teams with two international banks, I have gained a deep understanding of large-scale financing transactions with banks as well as in the capital markets. Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic road cyclist and a fan of my hometown football team 1. FC Nürnberg, but first and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Sofie Nicoline Rostgaard Petersen

I strive to build strong client relationships as I believe they are crucial for crafting personalized solutions. A fulfilling workday for me involves teamwork, challenges, and focused efforts. I hold an MSc in Business Administration and Mathematical Business Economics from Copenhagen Business School, which I have pursued alongside my immersion in the financial industry since 2014.

Tom Wood

I have varied experience in professional services operating across restructuring and debt advisory services, assisting clients across a variety of sectors such as business services, energy, TMT, healthcare and industrials. My current focus sits in the debt advisory team, working with businesses in the Midlands and the UK. I enjoy complex challenges and providing bespoke solutions to clients.

David Serra

I’m a pure M&A professional since I started working in 1995, initially at Deloitte Corporate Finance, then progress at Robert W.Baird for a while and finally became one of the founding partners at Clearwater Spain, where I really enjoy leading both the TMT and Business Service practices in my country coordinating a bunch of outstanding and challenging professionals. Before joining Clearwater in 2001, I worked as Managing Director at Granville Baird Investment Banking Spain, and as Manager at Deloitte, in its corporate finance division. In that regard, I have successfully closed over 40 national and cross-border deals in multiple sectors. At Clearwater, I have led over 30 transactions worth a total value of more than €900,0m. These include the acquisition of Vector Software Factory by its management from Banco Santander, the acquisition of Walter Martinez by RECA Group (Würth) and the acquisition of Diode by GTI, among others. I have the strong conviction that our M&A practice brings tremendous value and satisfaction to our clients, especially since many of them ask for our services again, several years after we concluded a deal together.
