Alexander Fregien

I joined Clearwater in November 2023 after completing an internship in the summer of 2022. I also gained further professional experience during my studies at Bosch and Allianz, among others. For my bachelor's degree, I studied at the University of Hohenheim, and I went to the University of Vienna for my Master's degree. During my master's studies, I also participated in the Portfolio Management Program at ISK Vienna. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with friends and doing sports. Most of the time you can find me on the football pitch, both as a player and fan.

Fynn Bornat

I have been part of the Clearwater team since September 2020 and primarily support our clients in the Business Services and Industrial & Chemicals sectors in the realisation of M&A transactions. Previously, I completed my Master's degree in Finance & Investments at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and hold a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Maastricht University. In addition, I have gained experience in corporate finance through various internships at Airbus Bank and Accenture, among others. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, be it snowboarding in the mountains or kitesurfing in the summer. I also enjoy travelling and discovering new destinations all over the world.

Marcos Linares

I am an Associate at Clearwater International having joined the company in 2017. Currently, I am based in the Barcelona office, focused on the industrial sector and debt advisory service. Prior to Clearwater International, I worked as an Analyst in Gas Natural Fenosa, in the Latam department within the Barcelona headquarters. I joined Clearwater to work with a professional and international team and to have responsibility at every stage of the transaction. I enjoy having the opportunity to help our clients succeed in their ambitions. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, specialising on statistics. While I was at University, I also studied investment strategies graduating from the Academy of Financial Trading.

Gregory Cornes

I have spent my career working in mid-market M&A advising founders, management teams and private equity. I joined Clearwater in 2017 and am currently an Associate Director in the UK Consumer team, based in the London office.

Chris Finnegan

After completing a summer internship with Clearwater in 2022 as part of a Master’s degree in Finance at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, I joined as a full-time analyst in September 2022 post graduating. Prior to this, I graduated with a degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin and gained intern experience with Davy Group. I joined Clearwater for the opportunity to work alongside ambitious and experienced individuals as part of a leading global corporate finance house.

Andrea Pagliara

I spent my entire career within M&A. I started working for a smaller M&A boutique, part of an investment holding group, back in 2004 and I am currently Managing Partner at Clearwater having led the creation, in 2017, of the business in Italy with my partners.
