I’m an Associate Director, based in the Leeds office. I joined Clearwater in 2021 as part of the Business Services sector team and have worked in M&A since 2017, advising clients on a wide range of transactions involving private equity and strategic trade acquirers across both buy-side and sell-side. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, running around after my two young children and walking the dog. I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy watching Liverpool when the time allows.

After completing my internship in January 2024, I joined the Clearwater International team as an Analyst.  I have a master’s degree in Finance from Católica Porto Business School and two bachelor's degrees in Management and Economics from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. I also had the opportunity to study in Poland through Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa w Gdańsku.  At Clearwater, I have the chance to place the knowledge I've acquired into practice, as well as the opportunity to relate to real experiences and work with exceptional professionals.

I joined Clearwater International in January 2023, as a Marketing Executive. As part of the international marketing team, my role is to produce and deliver marketing collateral including publications, PR, e-mail, and website content. Prior to joining Clearwater, I worked in a marketing role at a wholesale kitchen and homeware company, based in Birmingham. Overall, I have a varied marketing skillset, which includes digital content, website management, campaigns, and social media. It’s great to be part of a passionate team that works collaboratively on international projects.

Michael Loudon

I am a Partner and the Head of Industrials & Chemicals at Clearwater. I began my career in larger cap, complex M&A but was drawn to the mid-market, joining Clearwater in 2016. I particularly enjoy working with and advising owner-managers, entrepreneurs, and management teams in telling their stories to prospective investors and strategic trade acquirers alike. I believe this brings greater responsibility and pressure but equally far more job satisfaction than anywhere else in the market. I am proud of what the Clearwater team have achieved to date and the momentum we have as a business.

I am a Partner in the Tech team, a role that provides me with the real enjoyment of working alongside some of the most exciting and innovative businesses in the UK. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than supporting a management team in strategising, preparing, and executing a transaction, which is why I joined Clearwater’s market-leading Tech team, having previously spent more than 14 years at the Big 4 and leading on deals across Europe and Asia. Since joining, I have subsequently closed transactions with a number of market-leading private equity houses and international trade acquirers.
