Clearwater International advises Hanssen Holding on its sale of Go’on Gruppen A/S to Treville & Co.

Clearwater International has advised Hanssen Holding, a Danish investment firm on its sale of unmanned filling stations Go’on Gruppen A/S (Go’on) to Danish investment consortium, Treville & Co.

Established in 2009 and headquartered in Skanderborg, Denmark, Go’on offers transport fuels and complementary products through own-operated, unmanned filling stations across Denmark. Go’on has a network of more than 180 sites including four dedicated truck sites and since 2017 has launched more than 65 filling stations.

The Go’on stations are primarily located in suburban areas close to shopping locations or where local consumers normally do not have access to transport fuel – an approach which is understated by the slogan: “We keep the locals running”. Go’on has strong local roots and a commitment to strengthening local communities through thesupport of local events and sports associations facilitated by the dedicated team of Go’on event consultants.

Go’on is owned by Hanssen Holding, a Danish family with offices headquartered in Daugård, Denmark, investing in both real estate, companies, and investments funds. Hanssen Holding was founded in the early 1980s by merchant John Hanssen who established several well-known retail concepts.

Treville & Co. is a Danish investor consortium founded by three former partners from the private equity fund Axcel. Treville & Co. enters as a co-owner in a stabile data driven business while the Go’on management team become co-owners as well after impressively driving the business to where it is today. Together the new Go’on constellation will continue to develop the possibilities within the transport fuel market.
