Clearwater advises Connexxion OV on its tender process for the concession of Amsterdam-Amstelland
Clearwater has advised Connexxion OV (Connexxion), a market leader in city and regional transport, on its tender process for the concession of Amsterdam-Amstelland (AML).
A subsidiary of Transdev, Connexxion is a market leader in city and regional transport, such as buses, trains, and boats, throughout the Netherlands. The company’s turnover is €800m with a headcount of around 7,000 employees.
The concession of Amsterdam-Amstelland is a 10 year contract evaluated at €1bn, starting from December 2017, including the possibility of an additional five year extension. In the AML region, over 30 million people travel by bus each year.
