Dr. Heinrich Kerstien

Together with my partner and colleague Dierk Rottmann, I co-head the debt advisory business in the German-speaking region. We advise medium-sized companies and groups on a variety of financing issues and accompany them throughout the transaction process. In addition, I am co-responsible for our private equity activities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We maintain very close, trusting and long-standing relationships with private equity firms. Before joining Clearwater, I was co-head of the European debt advisory business at Rothschild and held various senior positions in the leveraged finance team at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London. I play drums, am a fan of contemporary art and fine dining and enjoy travelling - be it on the motorbike through Central America or to the Austrian mountains for cold training.
