Korantin Hénaff Le Gall

I joined the Clearwater team in Paris in March 2022 as an Analyst. After initial experiences in Transaction Services at EY and in M&A in a French multinational specialized in restaurants, I joined the small and mid-cap M&A team of KPMG Corporate Finance for two years, where I carried out transactions in the industry, technology, healthcare as well as wine and spirits sectors. I chose to join Clearwater for its reputation, its multi-sector expertise and the opportunity to work closely with the management of the companies we support. This demanding and stimulating environment allows me to develop my skills on various subjects within a benevolent and dynamic team. I have a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne.

Mohammed Sohail

As the Head of IT, I am responsible for supporting all UK staff as well as managing the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout Clearwater. I work closely with all the Clearwater teams and IT solutions partners to ensure we make the most of the technology hardware and software solutions as well as being an early adopter of new technologies. I joined Clearwater in August 2011 and have over 30 years of experience managing IT systems, having previously worked for a large mechanical and electrical engineering firm. I have a BSc degree in Computer Science obtained from Manchester Victoria University.

Finn O'Driscoll

I have over ten years of M&A experience advising high-growth technology businesses, founders, management teams, and corporate investors. I lead Clearwater’s software practice and am passionate about contributing to the continued growth and development of the European software industry alongside the talented team here at Clearwater. I also have extensive transaction experience across other technology verticals including IT Managed Services, Digital Transformation, B2B Data, and Information Services. I have transacted to and for many leading international strategic and private equity investors including Vista Equity Partners, Macquarie Capital, ECI Partners, Inflexion, Bowmark, EMK, Livingbridge, LDC, and Tenzing.

Hemavli Bali

I joined Clearwater in December 2018 to lead M&A advisory within healthcare and life sciences technology and specialist services - including life science commercialisation services, e-clinical solutions, healthcare IT, software and IP driven consultancies. My 21 year career has traversed investment banks, Big Four firms and M&A boutiques and I joined Clearwater for its truly international team, passion for high quality client service, culture and dynamism. I have spent 16 years in M&A advisory, in the UK and the US, and advised on over 40 transactions across the sell- side, buy-side, owner-managed businesses, large corporates, private equity and public to private transactions. I have also provided extensive Board level advice both pre- and post-deal processes. The healthcare and life science industry, and its increasing technology enablement, has been my main focus throughout. Deals I have advised on include the sales of Age UK’s telecare business to Axa PPP Healthcare, Medaxial to Covance, Abacus International to Decision Resources Group and Synergy to DDB, Omnicom. I have previously held roles at Deloitte, Results International, Nomura, Royal Bank of Canada and Ernst & Young. I am a Chartered Accountant and hold a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Rasmus Østergaard

I joined Clearwater International in May 2017, having previously worked for Arla Foods as an Intern, Aarhus University as a teacher and Jyske Bank within capital management. I wanted to join Clearwater partly because of its good reputation as a great workplace and partly because I saw a great opportunity to develop my skills within finance and strategy. Since joining I have broadened my commercial, as well as my financial understanding and learned how to apply this to M&A advisory. Over the years I have gained transaction experience across a wide range of industries including industrials & chemicals, TMT, healthcare and consumer. Additionally, I have worked with a variety of both owner-managed and private equity held companies, such as Golf Experten, Holiday Group Invest, Controlled Polymers, and Graphic West. The wide range of industry and client type experience has been an important learning curve in my career journey so far and is extremely valuable when working on new projects. The dynamic team culture at Clearwater International is another motivating factor, as every day you’re surrounded by inspirational people that are always willing to help you develop further. I hold an MSc in Finance and International Business, which I obtained from Aarhus University.

Pierre-Henri Avalle

I joined Clearwater in 2016. Later on, after two and a half years in the mid-cap team, I spent 2 years in Singapore where I worked in a local M&A team covering the Asia-Pacific region. At the end of this enriching experience, I returned to the Clearwater team in Paris, happy to be back in a human-sized team of dynamic professionals, with a reputation for meeting clients’ goals and expectations. During these years, I was able to complete numerous transactions with both strategics and investment funds in Europe and Asia – in the healthcare and real estate sectors on the one hand, and in the leisure and new technology sectors on the other. I am a graduate of EDHEC Business School where I obtained a double degree Master in Management as well as Master of Science in Corporate Finance & Banking. Thanks to its international exposure and its agility Clearwater International allows me to build an international career in finance.

Marco Morfino

With a degree in Industrial Technology Engineering and a career in management consulting starting at Jmac, I honed my sector skills at Arthur D Little. My specialisation in Supply Chain and Operations prepared me for successful managerial and entrepreneurial roles, especially in the dynamic TMT sector. This journey led me to oversee significant international operations, contributing to the progress and transformation of the industrial landscape. I teach IT for Company Networks at SUPSI within the Bachelor's degree program in Management Engineering. In September 2022, I joined the Clearwater team.

Florian Hunkeler

I have long-standing experience in M&A advisory. Upon graduation, I started my career working for a smaller advisory firm before joining Clearwater in 2017. I have advised on a variety of M&A and capital raising transactions in a broad range of sectors including industrials, medical technology, consumer, media & entertainment and renewable energy. I have significant expertise in cross-border and carve-out transactions, as well as in growth equity financing rounds. Acting as a sell-side adviser, I have closed transactions with both international strategic buyers and financial investors. I strive for excellence in transaction execution, and I am committed to delivering added value for our clients. I graduated with a master’s degree in economics from the University of Zurich and I am a CFA Charterholder.
