Scandinavian based Publishing company Datagraf Group (made up of Datagraf Communications A/S and DG Media A/S) has been sold to Aller Media

Clearwater International has advised the owners of the Datagraf Group (made up of Datagraf Communications and DG Media), based in Scandinavia, on their sale to Aller Media A/S.

Datagraf Communications A/S and DG Media A/S, both of which have subsidiaries in Sweden and Norway, create publications, related advertising and content marketing for various private companies and public bodies. DG Group has an annual turnover of over €40 million and has 144 employees.

Datagraf Group was established as a communication company in 1986 and has since undergone both organic and acquisitive growth. During the 90s the Company expanded with digital and internet offerings and since 2000 DG Group was geographically expanded into Sweden and Norway through acquisitions. Additional services such as advertising sales, client publishing and distribution have also been added to the portfolio of the Company. The company produces approximately 200 magazines. In addition, DG Media works with over 12,000 advertisers and publishes its own portfolio of magazines including well-known Danish titles such as Sundhed, smagogbehag and Spis Bedre.

Aller Media is the leading publisher of magazines and newspapers in the Nordic region with a weekly circulation of approx. 3.2 million copies. More than 2 million, out of a population of 5 million, Danes read one of Allers publications every week. Aller Media is a modern innovative media house located at “Havneholmen” in Copenhagen. Aller Media has a market share in Denmark of approximately 73% of weekly publications and approximately 20% of magazines.

Clearwater International acted as exclusive financial advisors to the owners of the Datagraf Group in the sales process, during which several national and international players showed interest in the group.
