Clearwater International advises Webedia on the sale of Semantiweb to European Digital Group

Clearwater International has advised Webedia, the European leader in the production and distribution of cross-platform digital content, on the sale of Semantiweb, a pioneering social media intelligence agency, to European Digital Group (EDG), a digital services provider.

Semantiweb was founded in 2011 by Sonia Lecommandoux and Virginie Barbieri, two entrepreneurs with a passion for marketing, convinced that the explosion in social media engagement would revolutionise consumer research.
