Clearwater International advises Wallenborn on sale of the largest Croatian wind farm Selan (42MW)

Clearwater International acted as sole financial adviser to Wallenborn Group on the sale of 100% of the share capital of Selan d.o.o. to a financial institution group and the refinancing of the existing non-recourse project financing with a volume of €60m.

Selan d.o.o. is the holding company of the wind farm “Senj I”, with 14 wind energy plants from Vestas (3 MW) and is with a total installed capacity of 42 MW the largest wind farm in Croatia today. The location of Senj I is characterised by stable and strong winds (Bora winds) which allow 3,700 full-load hours in a year and make Senj I one of the most efficient and powerful onshore wind farms in Europe.

Wallenborn Group is a project development company with focus on onshore wind farms. With an operational portfolio of 84.5 MW the company is engaged through project development and operating its own wind farms
