Clearwater International advises the shareholders of Hôpital Privé du Confluent on its sale to Vivalto Santé and Icade Santé

Clearwater International advised the shareholders on the sale of the operating assets to Vivalto Santé and of the real estate to Icade Santé.

Hôpital Privé du Confluent is the number one private healthcare player in Nantes, France and is the largest private clinic in France with more than 1,200 employees and nearly 200 medical practitioners. Hôpital Privé du Confluent came from the merger of Nouvelles Cliniques Nantaises (NCN) and Centre Catherine de Sienne (CCS) in 2010. Hôpital Privé du Confluent, which has more than 500 beds and 28 operating rooms, hosted 54,000 hospital stays, 21,364 chemotherapy sessions, 42,317 radiotherapy sessions and 31,770 emergency service admissions in 2018, resulting in a reported revenue of €117m.

The operating assets have been acquired by Vivalto Santé, the 3rd largest French private operator of acute care clinics with 34 establishments over 6 regions within France. As a result of this acquisition, Vivalto Santé owns more than 5,000 beds and generates more than €750m in revenues.

The real estate of Hôpital Privé du Confluent has been sold to Icade Santé, the leading French private clinics real estate investor with a portfolio of 128 assets for a total value of €5bn.
