Clearwater International advises the shareholders of Groupe Panhard on its minority sale to Andera Partners

Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of Groupe Panhard, a leading player in logistics real estate development, on the sale of a minority stake to private equity fund Andera Partners.

Established in 1995 by Alain Panhard, Groupe Panhard has established itself as one of the leading players in logistics real estate with more than 1.5m m² of logistics platforms developed since its creation. 2012 was marked by Christophe Bouthors’ arrival as Chief Executive Officer in order to structure the group and accelerate the development of its initial activity.

Driven by the Alain Panhard / Christophe Bouthors duo, the group has diversified into other business lines including asset management, residential development, and more recently office and business activity following a recruitment in 2019 to launch this activity. The group has just passed the one billion mark in assets under management, thanks in particular to the partnerships initiated with Amundi Immobilier and Ivanhoe Cambridge in logistics and business parks. The business also has 300 lots initiated and 1,500 under development in the Paris region in its three years in residential development.

With this primary MBO, Andera Partners becomes Groupe Panhard’s reference shareholder and the management team, led by Christophe Bouthors, is strengthening its stake in the group's share capital. Alain Panhard, founder of the group, thus finalizes its operational and capital transfer while remaining a significant minority shareholder.
