Clearwater International advises DNV GL on the acquisition of a minority stake in Valoritalia

Clearwater International has advised DNV GL, on the acquisition of a 2% stake, owned by Federdoc, of Valoritalia.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Roma, Valoritalia is the Italian leading player active in the certification of Denomination of Origin wines, holding more than 50% of the market share. The company guarantees the traceability of the product from the vineyard to the market, ensuring that companies, institutions and consumers comply with the production standards established in the Production Regulations adopted by the Protection Consortia. Among DOC, DOCG and IGT, Valoritalia certifies 230 Designations of Origin, equal to over 60% of the Italian production of quality wines.
