Marcus Archer

I have been a partner of Clearwater since 2008, and during that time have built a business services sector team, developed our sponsor coverage programme, substantially grown our London team and sat on the UK Board (as well as advising many clients on successful fundraises, exits or acquisitions!). I am still a keen tennis player, rapidly learning how to play padel, an average golfer and love any time I can spend scuba diving or on the ski slopes.

Tobias Schätzmüller

As one of the co-founders of the German Clearwater office, I lead our international Automotive & Mobility sector team as a Partner. I have always been fascinated by the mobility sector due to its innovative capacity and constant technological change. We realise significant, usually cross-border M&A transactions in all (automotive) mobility sub-segments for family businesses, corporations and private equity investors. I am also responsible for the Financial Services division in the DACH region. I started my corporate finance career in 2000 at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, before co-founding Clearwater. Besides the mobility industry, I am passionate about progressive rock, and Bayern Munich and I love spending time with my wife and our three children.

Dr. Heinrich Kerstien

Together with my partner and colleague Dierk Rottmann, I co-head the debt advisory business in the German-speaking region. We advise medium-sized companies and groups on a variety of financing issues and accompany them throughout the transaction process. In addition, I am co-responsible for our private equity activities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We maintain very close, trusting and long-standing relationships with private equity firms. Before joining Clearwater, I was co-head of the European debt advisory business at Rothschild and held various senior positions in the leveraged finance team at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London. I play drums, am a fan of contemporary art and fine dining and enjoy travelling - be it on the motorbike through Central America or to the Austrian mountains for cold training.

Rebecca Ferrami

I joined Clearwater in 2017 as an Office Manager, responsible for a wide range of tasks including internal and international communications, supporting human resources, and providing assistance to all partners and team members. I really enjoy working for Clearwater, ensuring the smooth running of the office and supporting all organisational matters. I love being a point of reference in the Milan office and having the opportunity to work closely with the International Marketing team. I always look forward to developing my skills and learning something new.

Tarsonia Sanghera

As Clearwater’s UK Marketing Manager, I am responsible for overseeing and executing all of Clearwater’s UK marketing activity across multiple areas within the business. My expertise includes campaign development, management and execution. I have nearly 10 years of experience working in the finance industry within marketing focussed roles.

Catherine Jones

From managing schedules and ensuring seamless operations at Clearwater's Manchester office, I provide unwavering support to our CEO, partners, directors, and the entire team. At Clearwater, each day brings new challenges and opportunities - I began my journey as an Apprentice Administrator in 2014 and have since advanced to the role of Office Manager and PA, being shortlisted for numerous awards along the way. I thoroughly enjoy working with the Manchester team and supporting them to achieve success at Clearwater.

Emma Johansson

I joined Clearwater International as Financial Manager in January 2020 and am based in the Stockholm office. Prior to joining the Clearwater team in Sweden, I have had two and a half years of experience as an Audit Associate at EY where I was mostly involved with the accounting of larger listed entities.

I hold a Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Accounting from Lund’s University School of Economics and Management.

Karen Parkin

As HR Manager at Clearwater, I am responsible for the day-to-day running of our UK HR function, working alongside the UK COO to ensure Clearwater continues to be a great place to work. I have spent over 30 years in the finance sector and 25 of those years have been at Clearwater and I am proud to be part of such a dynamic team.

Mandy Allen

I am an Impact Manager at Clearwater, responsible for supporting and delivering our ESG and Impact Strategy across the business. I joined Clearwater in 2006 as PA/Office Manager in the Manchester office, before moving into the Impact Team in 2022. I care passionately about the environment, sustainability, social responsibility and DE&I, to create a long-lasting legacy, ensuring a positive impact for the business and wider community.

Jérémy Sartre

I began my career in M&A advisory at SGCIB and Barclays Capital where I worked on generalist jumbo deals such as Arcelor / Mittal or GDF / Suez. In 2012, I co-founded an AdTech startup and exited to a strategic industrial player, before joining SmartAngels as COO. SmartAngels is a leading European crowdequity platform where I supervised over 60 funding rounds including seed, Series A and Series B. More recently, I had the opportunity to advise on several M&A deals such as Voodoo in gaming, Nexity in proptech, Adecco in HR tech and Kiute in SaaS B2B. By leveraging my previous experiences in Investment Banking and as a former tech entrepreneur, my natural focus is always customer centric. Benefiting from Clearwater’s notoriety and reputation for excellence, we aim at delivering top-notch and personalised advisory services to entrepreneurs and shareholders, adapted to the specific framework of tech dynamics. I graduated from HEC in 2005 with a Master’s in Economics and Finance.
