Henrik Falkenby

I joined Clearwater International in 2017 and I am based in the Stockholm office. Since joining Clearwater, I have had the opportunity to advise both entrepreneurs and corporates in transactions across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining the business, I worked as a management consultant in Paris, focusing on Commercial Due diligence for private equity clients in M&A transactions and advising large corporates on strategic M&A projects. I hold an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School in London.

Adrian Saif

I joined Clearwater in October 2023, focussing on the Industrials & Chemicals sector, and have advised on a broad range of M&A transactions over my 12-year career in Investment Banking. Furthermore, my responsibilities include, amongst others, covering the Middle East region based i.a. on my professional experience in Saudi Arabia, and having worked on several DACH-MENA cross-border transactions. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and to travel and immerse myself in different cultures and perspectives.

Francesco Di Folco

I joined Clearwater International in 2021 as a Corporate Finance Director in Sweden. Prior to joining, I worked at KPMG Corporate Finance, Livingstone Partners and Handelsbanken Corporate Finance. I am driven by the ambition to provide the best advice in every transaction, with the highest possible value creation for the client. At Clearwater, I have the privilege of doing this in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment together with a driven team of M&A experts focusing on the unique aspects and challenges of each transaction. Since beginning my career in M&A in 2010, I have gained experience from several different sectors such as industrial and TMT, and have also worked with installation and service companies, as well as B2C. I have mainly worked with sell-side mandates for privately-owned companies and large international corporate clients. I hold an MSc in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Daniel Nota

I joined Clearwater within the Leeds office in January 2023, as an Associate. Before this, I spent six years at KPMG, having joined in 2017 on the school leaver programme, which combined university and professional studies with a full-time position within the national markets audit team. Latterly, I transitioned into the transactions assurance group, providing assurance services to entities undertaking significant transactions such as IPOs and joint ventures, which included both UK and US listings. Outside of work, I am an avid fitness fan and compete in functional fitness competitions regularly.

Julien Choppin

I am a Managing Director at Clearwater and have advised on many transactions across the consumer, real estate and business services sectors. In particular, I have worked on complex transactions with leading businesses offering them innovative solutions to meet their specific needs. Client satisfaction is my main objective in order to create long term relationships and repeat business. I joined Clearwater in 2010 after previous roles in M&A advisory at Close Brothers (DC Advisory) and in private equity within GMT Communication Partners in London. I graduated from IESEG with a major in Corporate Finance.

Richard O'Donnell

I have been a specialist in the M&A consumer and leisure sector for 20 years and I am a Partner at Clearwater. I cut my teeth at UBS Investment Bank, as part of the team advising on large and often £1bn or above transactions across Europe. I then moved to the mid-market and have spent the last 15 years working with some of the most exciting brands in the sector, including Fever-Tree, LEON Restaurants, Fox International, LeMieux, and Goals Soccer Centres. I’ve advised on sales, acquisitions, and take-private transactions in the sector.

Edward Gale

I am a Partner in the Tech team, a role that provides me with the real enjoyment of working alongside some of the most exciting and innovative businesses in the UK. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than supporting a management team in strategising, preparing, and executing a transaction, which is why I joined Clearwater’s market-leading Tech team, having previously spent more than 14 years at the Big 4 and leading on deals across Europe and Asia. Since joining, I have subsequently closed transactions with a number of market-leading private equity houses and international trade acquirers.

Finn O'Driscoll

I have over ten years of M&A experience advising high-growth technology businesses, founders, management teams, and corporate investors. I lead Clearwater’s software practice and am passionate about contributing to the continued growth and development of the European software industry alongside the talented team here at Clearwater. I also have extensive transaction experience across other technology verticals including IT Managed Services, Digital Transformation, B2B Data, and Information Services. I have transacted to and for many leading international strategic and private equity investors including Vista Equity Partners, Macquarie Capital, ECI Partners, Inflexion, Bowmark, EMK, Livingbridge, LDC, and Tenzing.

Gabriele Rossetti

After a brief corporate experience and upon completing a Master's degree in Corporate Finance at SDA Bocconi, I started my professional career in M&A in 2020. Following engagements with two boutique firms in Milan, I hold the position of Associate at Clearwater, where I've been working since mid-2021, and I am deeply involved in M&A transactions encompassing both buy-side and sell-side activities, as well as Debt Advisory services. In my role, I collaborate closely with private equity funds, corporations and entrepreneurs, managing processes, facilitating strategic transactions, and providing tailored financial solutions.

James Mundy

I joined Clearwater's Debt Advisory team in 2023, having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Grant Thornton. Since joining Clearwater, I've enjoyed working on a range of transactions supporting financial sponsors and corporates.
