I joined Clearwater within the Leeds office in January 2023, as an Associate. Before this, I spent six years at KPMG, having joined in 2017 on the school leaver programme, which combined university and professional studies with a full-time position within the national markets audit team. Latterly, I transitioned into the transactions assurance group, providing assurance services to entities undertaking significant transactions such as IPOs and joint ventures, which included both UK and US listings. Outside of work, I am an avid fitness fan and compete in functional fitness competitions regularly.

From managing schedules and ensuring seamless operations at Clearwater's Manchester office, I provide unwavering support to our CEO, partners, directors, and the entire team. At Clearwater, each day brings new challenges and opportunities - I began my journey as an Apprentice Administrator in 2014 and have since advanced to the role of Office Manager and PA, being shortlisted for numerous awards along the way. I thoroughly enjoy working with the Manchester team and supporting them to achieve success at Clearwater.

Richard Corrie

I joined Clearwater in 2017, and I am an Associate Director within our Industrials & Chemicals team. My role is to understand the evolving market dynamics within the industrial sector. This includes staying up to date with M&A activity, having insight into valuation drivers, and building relationships with leading corporate acquirers. During my time at Clearwater, I have had the opportunity to work on a number of highly successful transactions, supporting businesses across a range of sub-sectors. I enjoy working with high-quality businesses and helping to deliver positive outcomes during the sales process.

Moritz Stupka

Since 2017, I have been part of the Clearwater team, I have built my career on advising clients from various industries in mid-cap to transformational M&A projects. From my previous experience in the structured and leveraged finance teams with two international banks, I have gained a deep understanding of large-scale financing transactions with banks as well as in the capital markets. Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic road cyclist and a fan of my hometown football team 1. FC Nürnberg, but first and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my family.

I joined Clearwater International in 2021 as a Corporate Finance Director in Sweden. Prior to joining, I worked at KPMG Corporate Finance, Livingstone Partners and Handelsbanken Corporate Finance. I am driven by the ambition to provide the best advice in every transaction, with the highest possible value creation for the client. At Clearwater, I have the privilege of doing this in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment together with a driven team of M&A experts focusing on the unique aspects and challenges of each transaction. Since beginning my career in M&A in 2010, I have gained experience from several different sectors such as industrial and TMT, and have also worked with installation and service companies, as well as B2C. I have mainly worked with sell-side mandates for privately-owned companies and large international corporate clients. I hold an MSc in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Mike Slater

I am a Director in the Business Services team and, since joining Clearwater in 2018, I have led numerous impactful projects and enjoy collaborating with our experienced team to tackle daily challenges head-on. Before Clearwater, I honed my skills during my time at the Big Four, where I became a qualified Chartered Accountant, gaining expertise in audit, financial modelling, and financial due diligence. This journey has equipped me with a robust skill set, positioning me to deliver strategic insights and value to our clients at Clearwater.

Agatha Tufnell

I joined Clearwater in January 2024, as a PA based in the London office. My role is to provide support to the International COO, Partners, and team members within the consumer team. Prior to this, I was at an international fine jewellery business based in West London, providing support to the Director. Overall, I have over three years of experience as a Private PA, working for a range of high-net-worth individuals. I am pleased to be part of the Clearwater team, taking on the new challenge of working in a corporate environment.

Martine McAuliffe

Before joining Clearwater in the Birmingham office, I spent 5 years working in KPMG’s financial services department and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS. I have a first-class degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham. During my time in M&A, I have worked with a range of clients, from owner managers to private equity across a variety of sectors. I enjoy collaborating with experienced teams, embracing challenges and creating opportunities to add value for clients throughout their business journey.
