Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of NJS Faramia on its sale to Sofrilog Group

Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of NJS Faramia, a family-owned company specialising in temperature-controlled transport and logistics, on its sale to Sofrilog Group, a temperature-driven logistics and transport specialist.

Founded 40 years ago by Victor Faramia, NJS Faramia has a workforce of more than 170 employees, a fleet of 120 registered vehicles, five sites located in south east France and the Ile-de-France region, plus two warehouses in Vitrolles and Nice. The company is committed to developing innovative delivery solutions through virtuous investments, reducing carbon footprint and noise pollution, whilst recognised by major historical customers for its quality of service and responsiveness.

The Faramia family has decided to join Sofrilog to consolidate the company’s position with its historical key customers, preserving family entrepreneurship within the company. The strategic positioning of NJS Faramia in France will also strengthen Sofrilog's French transport coverage. They can rely on the support of the second generation of the Faramia family, who will remain committed to ensuring the successful integration of the company.

Sofrilog is a family-owned group specialising in logistics and cold storage transport, with operations in France and internationally, in Morocco and Europe. With 1,300 employees, they operate in 42 sites, have a cold storage volume of 1,400,000 m3, and a fleet of 340 refrigerated vehicles. With the acquisition of NJS Faramia, and following the geographical deployment of its transport offer in 2021 and 2022, Sofrilog is confirming its development strategy in distribution flows.
