Clearwater International advises Federation Entertainment on its acquisition of a majority stake in Robin & Co

Clearwater International has advised Federation Entertainment Group on its acquisition of a majority stake in Robin & Co, an independent French production company.

Founded in 1999 by Jean-Yves Robin and co-directed since 2020 by Laetitia Recayte, Robin & Co produces and distributes fictions for TV and streaming platforms, including movies, documentaries and magazines, and live shows.

Robin & Co is currently one of the market leaders in the creation of original fiction, both in prime time, (Chefs, La Dernière Partie and supernatural series Moloch), and in short format, (Or de lui, Caméra Café, Kaamelott, and SODA). Its historical activity, live entertainment, allows it to identify new talents who then fuel other projects for TV and cinema, and has notably brought out artists such as Kev Adams and Ahmed Sylla. The group has also made its mark in documentaries with productions such as Human, Legacy, in association with Yann Arthus Bertrand, as well as cinema with movies such as Café de Flore and Sympathy for the Devil.

This merger has a dual strategic purpose. It allows Federation Entertainment to strengthen its drama activity and to develop new segments such as comedy. On the other hand, Robin & Co will keep its autonomy while benefiting from Federation Entertainment’s international dimension and distribution know-how.
