Clearwater International advises OXYMAT on its sale to Atlas Copco

Clearwater International has advised the Danish supplier of on-site oxygen and nitrogen solutions, OXYMAT, on its sale to the leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, Atlas Copco.

Founded in 1978, OXYMAT has headquarters in Helsinge, Denmark and operates across Denmark and Slovakia. The company provides on-site PSA and membrane-based solutions for a wide range of industries, such as aquaculture, water treatment, medical, marine and mining. Having grown into a significant brand in the industrial gas market, OXYMAT now employs 140 employees. Worldwide sales are spread through a global network of agents and distributors, with equipment installed in more than 130 countries.

Founded in 1873, Atlas Copco is a Swedish multinational industrial company, remaining one of the largest and oldest companies on the Swedish stock exchange.

OXYMAT will be part of the Industrial Air division within the Compressor Technique business area of Atlas Copco. The Atlas business has a global service network, creating innovation for sustainable productivity, across the manufacturing and process industries. The acquisition of OXYMAT reinforces Atlas Copco’s ambition to become a recognised global player, leading the consolidation of the growing industrial gas generation business.

OXYMAT will remain committed to serving its customers and distributors in the most effective way, ensuring product excellence, installation, aftermarket support and efficient logistics. OXYMAT’s owner and CEO, Jesper Sjögren, will retain his position as CEO in the new partnership.
