Clearwater International advised AVK Group on raising financing to support its MBO

Clearwater International has advised the management team of AVK Group (AVK) on raising financing to support its management buyout (MBO).

AVK is a leading group providing audio-visual global communication solutions for all types of corporate events throughout Portugal and the Galicia region in northern Spain. AVK Group serves more than 4,000 events per year and generated a pre-pandemic consolidated turnover in 2019 of approximately €18m.

3AV New Skills, a new entity formed by three experienced managers, obtained control of 90% of AVK after the acquisition of approximately 48% of the AVK Group from the founding shareholder.
